Somewhere between the IPO and the AI pivot, monday.com's homepage stopped answering the only question a new visitor has: what is this, and is it for me? The agent story is everywhere above the fold. The product most buyers actually came for is in the footer. And the proof wall — the part that's supposed to close the skeptics — can't be checked by anyone.
monday.com will survive this; a quarter-million customers buys a lot of forgiveness. Your product doesn't have that cushion, which is exactly why this teardown is worth reading.
